Model in the Studio - Paint from Life

Welcome back Painter People!I am very excited to reonnect with you all!

I look forward to reconnecting and offering monthly opportunities for you to sign up to participate in "Live Model in the Studio" sessions as well as "Plein Air" sessions and "Live Still Life". There will be no instruction, we always learn from each other AND by doing :-)

Beginning Monday, April 13 and Monday, April 27 (we will meet every other week) please sign up to join me to draw and paint the costumed figure from life in Mike Williams Studio 272 at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment. On the 13th we will begin with a warm up with short poses at 11:00am, then proceed to a long pose until 2:00pm. On the 27th we will continue with the same costumed pose in an effort to complete your painting from life. Our very beautiful and professional model, Joanna Billiter, will be our model. The Giovanni Boldini photo above will be our pose both dates in April or not - your preference. There will be a limit of 10 painters. So please sign up early to reserve your spot. Please bring your art supplies- medium of choice. Easels, tabouret tables and seating will be provided. Please sign up for one or both sessions - $20.00 each or $40.00 for the two session. There will be a different model each month, every other week. Email me at [email protected] to sign up. You can pay by SQUARE invoice once you have signed up. You will receive a separate email invoice that you can pay by card or mail-in check (or cash) if you so desire. You may send your check to the address below. Please let me know your preference.

You can enter the building at about 10:30. Go to the dock in front of the water tower and enter door 13. Someone will meet you there to let you in. Just inside the door you will take the elevator to the second floor, turn left. Mike's studio is just down the ramp on the left (south) side of the hallway.

"The artist is not a special kind of person; rather each person is a special kind of artist" . . . "Uniquely Made" by the Creator of it ALL :-)
